    LOCATION

Nether Wallop is a semi-rural village joined by the neighbouring Middle and Over Wallops and is of course the fictional home of Agatha Christie’s, Miss Marple, called St Marys Mead in the television series. There is a local Anglo-Saxon church, primary school, village hall and a nearby garage with a general store. The neighbouring market town of Stockbridge is picturesque and popular with a variety of local shops, galleries and interesting boutiques along with an excellent range of restaurants, coffee shops, public houses, doctor's surgery and both primary and secondary schools.

The market town of Andover offers a twice weekly market, along with a broader range of educational and leisure facilities. A mainline railway station can be found at both nearby Grateley and Andover which provides fast services to London Waterloo or the West.   Salisbury, Winchester, Newbury and Basingstoke are all within half an hour’s drive, as well as excellent road links to London, the South Coast and the West Country.  There is a good selection of private schools in the surrounding area including Rookwood and Farleigh.
